This week on Discover the Hustle podcast we talk about our FAVORITE lessons learned from Cory Gregory and Marc Lobliner. If you haven’t heard these episodes you can watch the video version of Cory here and Marc here. This is a short episode so I’ll keep the show notes short. From the Cory Gregory interview, Dylan said that the fact that you can become anyone you want to really came through. Cory was a coal miner at one point. He lived in a trailer with his mom. He just never had anything given to him. He proved through work that you can become whoever you want to be. I thought that the concept of daily perspective was fantastic. The fact that Cory drove around looking for his father only to find out that he passed away just gives you goosebumps thinking about it. He said that nothing could ever be worse than that day, so anything else that happens in his life isn’t even comparable. It allows him to focus on the good things in life and easily put away the negatives.

From the Marc Lobliner interview, Dylan said that the amount of time and effort he puts into his family was crazy. Marc is an unbelievably busy human and the fact that he can commit so much to his family is amazing. We saw it first hand when we were at his house in Illinois. It shows that no matter what you have going on you can always make an effort and be present for the things that are most important in your life. I thought that the concept of going 120 was great. The immediate day after Dylan and I started to make sure that we were going 120 in our lives. We’ve had the best workouts of our lives since then. Every time I feel like slacking or letting myself not give the best effort, I remind myself the concept of 120 and it fires me right back up.

These interviews really have been some of the coolest things we have ever done. We plan on continuing to interview really great people that you all will be able to learn. I can’t tell you how much we learn just from spending an hour with these individuals. I wouldn’t change it for the world! We hope that you enjoyed this episode and look forward to hearing what you think!
