This week we had our Dividend Quiz Winner on the show to discuss portfolio management..

We started the show with Phil introducing himself and gave a brief background of his investment background

We followed this with some quickfire questions to help us get to know our guest a little better. There was one really tricky question in there and EDGI would not give Phil a free pass.

On the news of the week, EMF shared his thoughts on one of the Irish banks placing caps on savings and ponders what's to come down the road. will this be the catalyst for more people to get involved in investing?

eDGI shares his reflection on popcorn time with  Nikola and the fake it until you make it approach. As a passionate investor EDGI is keeping a keen eye on this story

Our Guest talked about an article on Bloomberg where wealthy families are taking companies/equity from the stock market again. If the wealthy are cashing out, than what is left in the pond for the rest of us

Main Topic:

The main topic was about portfolio management. We discuss How many Companies we  hold in our portfolio? How we ensure Sector allocation within our portfolio? How we track our portfolio performance? We also discuss how we manage the feeling of adding shiny new stocks to our portfolio.

Listener Questions:

Andrew Driver  -  I have a question for the Podcast, what are the presenters view or opinion on Investment Trusts, such as The City of London Investment Trust. This trust specializes in income and has a Dividend Yield of 5.87%. It has management costs cumulatively from what I can make out of 0.72% per year. I have also included there top holding below.

Stuart Hayes -  Considering the bearish direction of the market do you think more value will be got investing monthly or weekly? I'm currently putting 35 quid a week into a pie on Trading212. Thanks

The Wolf of Harcourt Street - What portfolio management tools (websites or apps) do you use outside of Excel or G Sheets?

RepStones - As the big fossil fuelers move into renewables, who do you favour to lead the pack? Also are there any straight renewable resource companies you'd invest in right now?

Check out the article from danny below https://medium.com/@DansInvestments/vestas-wind-systems-a-s-big-renewables-why-i-m-buying-9d028d2e85c7

Investment Talk™- What disruptive trends are you most bullish on? Examples: Payments, E-Commerce, US gambling, etc

Last but not least, we both shared our stock pick of the week. There was a REIT, a semiconductor company and a word of warning from EDGI
