So I'm not the biggest true crime fan, but I know a quality true crime podcast when I see one. The main quality isn't just in the host's presentation style but in the fact that she handles the story so respectfully. This isn't sensationalized or scandalized. However, because the parameters that make a 'Dr. Death' possible are so relevant to us, it was important to get the word out. That doesn't change that there are real victims and suffering involved.

Thoroughly enjoyed this podcast- another great one by Wondery. I find Wondery's best podcasts are like great books that you can't put down.

Gripping story - media exposure of the US healthcare system needs to keep happening - would like less advertisements

Season 1 is completely deserving of 5 stars. Maybe it is the lack of novelty, but the second season doesn't hit quite as hard.But that first season...I suggest it to people that I know have never even listened to a podcast because this story and the storytelling is so perfect. Easily one of the best podcasts I've ever heard.

This podcast fills in a lot of details that the news reporting missed. The subject was fascinating. I could have used a stronger structure, but it was a good podcast. Laura Bell is an excellent host.

Great podcast about the a neurosurgeon who is an egotist, but lacks competence and gets involved with drugs leading him to destroy the lives of several of his patients.

One of my favorite podcasts. I binged both seasons in a single day. Keep them coming.

Wondery is a likeable producer of good shows. This one was no different. Pretty general format and storytelling but I loved it nonetheless. Certainly recommend for road trips.
