In this final episode on the Ancient Egyptian Timeline, we focus on the end of Native Egyptian rule and Egypt's dominance by the Persian Empire. We highlight the last Native Egyptian Pharaoh, Nectanebo II.

In this episode, we focus on the 26th Dynasty and the Saite Period of Egypt. With the sack of Nineveh in 612 B.C. and the fall of the Assyrian Empire, both Psammetichus II and his successors attempt to reassert Egyptian power in the Near East.
