We live in a world faced by an unending list of problems. Many of these deserve immediate and well-resourced attention from both individuals and communities. However, we also live in a world of finite resources, and are forced to make costly tradeoffs in choosing how to spend our time and money.

This issue is discussed by four great thinkers:

Peter Singer – Professor of Bioethics (Princeton University) and Laureate Professor (University of Melbourne)
Eva Vivalt – Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics at Australian National University
Rob Wiblin – Director of Research (80,000 Hours)
Kirsten Armstrong – Global Lead of Development Effectiveness at The Fred Hollows Foundation
