The EDSG has quickly become part of my weekly routine. Dan and Josh present the information on the Earthdawn setting with great enthusiasm and always encourage fans to ask questions and get involved. The EDSG is a great place to gain an understanding of both the lore and the game mechanics of Earthdawn and it's simply a joy to listen to.

Being new to the TTRPG world in general, and Actual Play podcasts in particular, I was apprehensive about venturing into these uncharted waters. But this show is smart, engaging, and has a low barrier to entry -- even I can follow along without getting overwhelmed by rules and dice rolls. Worth the time!

I've been playing Earthdawn since about 1994 or 1995. It is far and away my favorite RPG. At the beginning of the Pandemic, I began playing a lot more as more of my friends and family became more open to playing online. I began looking for a way to get myself and my potential players back up to speed and stumbled upon this gem.Dan and Josh do an amazing job of introducing the setting and mechanics, and talking about how things have changed from older editions of the game. I love how they use a more conversational, as that way it doesn't sound like a lecture or like they are just reading the rules.I've listened to the entire series mutliple times, going back to specific episodes when something in it looks like it is going to come up in my campaign soon.Keep up the excellent work guys!
