Most people know that when someone has cancer, the drugs given to them (specifically chemotherapy) can cause hair loss. But what most people don’t know is why, and what effects it has, not only physically, but emotionally. How does it affect self esteem? How do people cope with it? How does society react (especially with women) to this lack of hair? These are the topics we will be exploring.
