This podcast was started in large part as a way to document the hardcore scene in Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse. I have had a pretty strong focus on bands that were active 20-25 years ago, while trying to do my best to keep an ear out for current bands. My discussion with Eric Lepore and Jeff Asbrand checks off both of those boxes. If you were going to shows in this area from 1998-2002 it is very likely you came across Break of Dawn. Eric, Jeff, and I talked about the band's history and the way their sound evolved over time. Jeff and Eric also recently released a demo for their current project No End. They are both living in Ithaca now and have been practicing together for some time. We talk about how the songs have come together, and what the band is planning for the immediate future.
