Episode 76 features a conversation with Nate Derby. If you have been a part of the music scene in the Rochester area in the last two decades, you are likely familiar with some of the bands Nate has been a part of. We talked about his early beginnings in Canandaigua, helping put on shows locally at All Things Art and playing with some local bands. Nate eventually joined Heavy Hearted. The most notable of Nate's bands that we discussed in depth on this episode was Such Gold. Nate detailed how Covid derailed most of their 2020 and 2021. We didn't get much of a chance to talk about The Weight We Carry, Holy War, and a few other Such Gold topics. I'll probably do a part two with Nate later this year.
