Tony Kynaston is arguably one of Australia’s best private investors. Tony is a former senior executive of companies like Coles and Shell. He started investing in the stock market 30 years ago and developed a checklist methodology to become a professional investor. It’s called Quality at Value, and it tells him what to buy and when to buy it. The average return on his portfolio over the last 20 years has been 19.5% per annum – double the ASX index. He's joined me in this episode to talk about Quality at Value and the podcast that he's created with his friend Cameron Reilly - the QAV PodcastOn this podcast Tony teaches Cameron how to use the checklist to become a successful investor. It’s like a weekly university class on value investing from a full-time investor with a private portfolio bigger than some funds (according to his stockbroker). He's also just joined the Association so please make him welcome. You can find Tony & Cameron's podcast here - https://qavpodcast.com.au/IMPORTANT – Please remember these podcasts are produced to provide information and education and they are not designed to provide financial advice nor are they a recommendation to buy shares in the companies featured.
