The original EBL crew (Tyler, Joel, Dorus and Josh) reunite for a special 50th episode for a discussion of philosopher Alasdair Macintyre's "After Virtue". In the first part, we focus on the first half of the book and discuss Macintyre's diagnosis of modernity's moral confusion, the problems of Weberian rational Bureaucracy, the limits of social science, the dominance and manipulation of emotivism, the theological engagement with Macintyre and a short critique of Macintyre's limits.
