In honor of Women's History Month, our March '17 episode is dedicated to the sisters in our lives, and all the women that don't get the appreciation that they deserve! We spent time discussing what the women in our lives mean to us, and the significant role women have played (and continue to play) in the world - from social movements to business successes.A sister called in and shared her thoughts on how we can create successful interactions between men and women. She advocated for traditional gender roles in relationships. That lead to a discussion on Womanism vs. Feminism and the value of either philosophy. We did touch on the "battle of the sexes" that exists, and how brothers and sisters get into "struggle competitions" and "oppression olympics." That's dead. Ultimately, it's about us supporting and celebrating each other through our unique struggles. That's how we win!It's also the 21st anniversary of a top 5 all time classic (don't debate me) Mark Morrison's "Return of the Mack!" We closed the show with that one!
