Sharon Rina Lopatka from the town of Hampstead in Maryland was unique as an odd duck – she was obsessed about autassassinophilia, a condition characterized by abnormal sexual desires in which a person is sexually aroused by the risk of being killed. Obsessing about it is one thing, but acting willfully on it is throwing one’s self into death’s claws.
