Fat and Black in Texas is about just that, being fat, and black, and living in Texas. Host Nikki DaVaughn dives into topics ranging from sex while fat, being black in city actively losing it's black population, to the erasure of Femme's in the LGBTQIA+ community. Nikki is a body positivity warrior, foul mouthed emcee, rabble rouser, and shenanigan starter. She is founder and Director of Fat Bottom Cabaret and Co-Producer of the Midnight Menagerie, a powerhouse collective of people of color performers.
