“Are you surrounded by people that you can lean into? Are you surrounded by people that remind you of what’s true and real, even when you forget?”- Lola Wright

When I first faced the challenge of having to change my language and the title of this very podcast, I felt deep resistance. But through the power of my practice, my support system, and a little bit of good legal counsel, I’m ready to let go and create something new.

On this final episode of Find Your Fierce & Loving, I say goodbye to this wonderful iteration of this community, and turn towards the one that is already emerging. While the path here has not been all smooth, I have trusted it. As I reliably invite you to consider with me, something greater is happening here. And with that always guiding my way, I am so excited to share my new podcast with you in October. This very same feed will have a new name, new language, and renewed purpose. I promise, it will have the same fiery love that we’ve always had. I can’t wait for you to join me on this next leg of our journey.

Chicago born and built, Lola grew up in wealth and privilege, yet always sensed something was missing. She sought out aliveness and freedom in music, immersing herself in the hip hop and house music scenes of 90s Chicago. After finding herself on her own at 23, as the mother of two young children, she became determined to create a new experience.

Lola is an ordained minister with a gift for weaving together the mystical and material, she served for many years as the CEO of Bodhi Center, an organization committed to personal transformation, collective awakening, conscious activism, and community-building.

This podcast is produced by Quinn Rose with theme music by independent producer Trey Royal.

Find Your Fierce & Loving

Something is stirring. Maybe you’ve felt it. We are reckoning with the reality of injustice and binary thinking that feeds the political machine. New conversations are happening around race, class, gender, and sexual orientation. Humanity is in the midst of a heartbreaking and painful paradigm shift. That is a good thing.Set On Fire is a weekly podcast hosted by Lola Wright. It is intended to help you disrupt, untangle, and free your mind of personal and collective agreements, patterns, and beliefs that are holding you back and weighing you down.Personal transformation AND collective awakening involve being the most alive, brilliant, inspired, creative, and on fire version of yourself, a version that is not consistent with the status quo. Lola is not here to maintain the status quo. She is here to support the dismantling and remembering that is necessary within you to reconfigure, reorient, and recreate reality from a place that is not based on scarcity and survival, but abundance, imagination, and desire. This is not your typical podcast. You'll never get the same show twice. Lola will be doing long-form interviews with conscious creatives, taking you on meditative experiences to move your body, awaken your soul, and provoke your mind.
