When Terry asked Ava Why did the Five Central Park Black men agreed to or confessed to the raper and murder of the White jogger victims 30 years ago? Ava took offense and literally stated that she doesn’t appreciate this question that has been asked numerous times on multiple shows and replied ; People shouldn’t ask Why but they need to understand that these were minors surrounded by cops with guns... Excuse Me Ava but Why is necessary, aren’t we supposed to understand the reason behind them agreeing to confess 30 years ago? Your piece which Ava propped as being a perfect answer to everyone’s question is not even a proper documentary took the liberty to eliminate the other parties ; cops/investigator .. Why is that? Ava was producing a story which is without doubt a heartbreaking one for the Then-teenagers but She is too defensive with her answers and take offense with any question that questions but don’t accuse the five of some of their actions? Thank you for alienating me. As always Terry Gross is not afraid of asking interesting questions!
