Now he returns to the character in an expanded, 10-part Netflix series. Also, writer and director Scott Frank says his Netflix series 'Godless' was inspired by historical records from 19th century Southwestern towns in which women took over after the men died in an accident. He talks about wanting to make a Western and embracing the genre's clichés.
