"Death" is a scary word. No one likes to think about it when they're busy being alive. Yet there it is, lurking in the wings, ready to be dealt with when the time comes.

It is fortunate that we have such a thing as Matthews House and hospice care, where trained medical and spiritual staff help bring ease and solace into those final moments.

The main purpose is to bring a sense of mutual sharing and reflection on what it means to be human.
