Crypto is the talk of the streets these days, almost similar to 2017. What's different is that corporates and institutional investors are getting involved. It's not just a retail craze anymore. I thought it would be good to get back on the topic to talk about all things crypto and perhaps make it into a regular topic to pick up.
In this episode, I speak to Naomi Oba, the marketing director of Bitcoin.com Exchange. We get into the topics of crypto payments, DeFi, derivatives and education. We've kept it broad just so that we cover many topics as possible but after the show, we realized we left out Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). Perhaps that could be a topic for next time.
Here we talk about the following;
- How is crypto going to be used for payments
- How can institutional investors can invest in crypto derivatives
- How Dex's and DeFi lending works
- Use of crypto for corporations
- How DeFi can get into the underbanked
