This episode I sat down with Jack Blake and discussed his development/path through the Nottingham Forrest Academy system from the age of 10 until he was 21 years old. We cover some of the differences of the English Academy system vs. US Youth Development. Jack reveals some of the real-life stories and behind the scenes hardships that come along with being a professional footballer on a day-to-day basis. We get into the nitty-gritty details of what happened to players, families, contracts etc. when the NASL folded. We also talk about Jack's new Youtube Channel, The Life of a Professional Footballer.
