Loved the podcast ‘Falling in Love With Languages’. Steph and Kerstin have a great chat about language learning. Discussing their language backgrounds, different methods of learning and their opinions about natural ability when it comes to language learners. Highly recommended!
Geopats PodcastingThanks so much Brian, I appreciate this so much!
Stephanie is one of the real ones! I connected so fast and deeply with her when we first met. Stephanie is very passionate about people and fostering their growth and it's all of these features and moe that she brings to her show. On another personal level and perhaps more awkward note, her voice is ASMR quality and it's one of the reasons I sleep very well at night. Keep up the good works, Steph! You are amazeballs x3000!
Geopats PodcastingThanks Mo! This is so sweet!
So interesting. I learn something new with every episode.
Geopats PodcastingThank you so much!
Great voice and seems full of passion for the medium; looking forward to listening to further episodes as they are produced.
Geopats PodcastingThanks so much Clark, I appreciate your kind words. From your website I see that you speak Chinese and lived in Asia. You might also be interested in our Geopats Language Podcast:)
Fascinating! I'm just starting your awesome podcast and I am so in love with your voice. Really looking forward to diving into this content and learning from these diverse topics/guests.
Geopats Podcastingoh my gosh Effie, this makes me so happy. Thank you!
What a fun podcast! Steph's voice is lovely, and the different themes are super interesting. I am enjoying the glimpse into the lives of expatriates. Give it a listen.
Geopats PodcastingChristine, I appreciate you taking the time to write this. So sweet!
Steph is one of the sweetest people we have ever come across. Her energy and positivity are contagious. If you are someone who wants to listen to a show that will lift your spirits, this is the one. Plus, you get to learn a lot about the lives of expatriates, and coffee. Come on, how can you say no to coffee?!
Geopats PodcastingAwwww, this is a wonderful review. Thank you SO much!
I really enjoy all the different interviews. My favorites are probably the book episodes. The people are so interesting and the dialogue is so natural. I've always looked for "expat"/traveler type podcasts, but there aren't really that many and quite a few are focused on specific places or just digital nomads or such (and I've often heard a lot of the same guests on those shows). I like the diversity of guests here! And, you can tell the host is genuinely curious and really thinks about her show and what her guests are sharing.
Geopats PodcastingThank you so much for this feedback. I am so happy to have you as such an engaged listener!
I linked into Stephs podcast a few months ago, and appreciate the insightful and experienced conversations that she hosts with her guests. Truly global and uniquely engaging with long term expats, I found kindred spirits sorting through opportunities and questions that I share as a 15 year expat. Identity, home, fitting in, and being understood are explored from first hand knowledge. 'Always a worthwhile journey alongside a curious and sympathetic host.
Geopats is one of the most unique expat podcasts on the pod scene, and Steph does a brilliant job at navigating different themes while tying them together in a fun, highly listenable way. Her guests are diverse and her interview style is pleasantly conversational. Definitely give this a listen if you're living abroad or are otherwise curious about life in different cultures!
The host, Steph, has a smooth voice that reminds me of late night radio way back in the early 00s. She's funny, passionate, and smart, and it all comes through in her show. She covers many different aspects of the international experience, and her feed features enough variety while still managing to have an overarching theme. Take a listen!
Stephanie is a great host and her guests always have interesting stories about how they navigate life abroad.
