This week, I’ll be sitting down with Brooke Strahan (IG @hitherebrooke). She was once described by an Australian author as ‘Being like the city of Darwin; moody, brooding but with a sunny disposition’ and more recently by a U.S painter as, ‘A being all of her own.’ Brooke is a farmer and author of an Australian psychological thriller series. She also blogs for an all female outdoor and hunting website and is an advocate for disability awareness and pride. She loves illustrating and anything in the creative and aesthetic space. Brooke has worked in male dominated fields during her professional career, joining the Australian Defense Force as a young adult, she then went into employment with various federal government departments before becoming a private consultant specialising in security, emergency management and disaster training. Brooke is a self described ‘Walking juxtaposition’ and lives in the beautiful high country of Victoria, Australia, with her husband and all her animals.
