Superfan Giovanni has been the official archivist of all things Loveline since I first started poking around the internet in 2003 looking for shared mp3’s of the show to listen to on my long car trips back and forth from college. I listened to Loveline 5 nights a week from age 14 through 18, and then when I went away to school I would catch it when I could as it was not on a local affiliate. And so…it’s this Herculean task that Giovanni has taken upon himself to rebuilt, clean up, and repost week by week classic episodes of LoveLine- filling in years of lost and neglected tapes to give us the powerhouse team that was Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla- at the height of their powers, helping teens by dispensing medical recommendations and solid advice- all while trying to create comedy out of situations that we often anything but. You can’t time travel…but putting in my earbuds and queuing up and episode…I can be 17 again…laying on my bedroom floor in 1999 listening to the gents. Thanks for doing this Giovanni- it means the world.
