In February 2020, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease.  I have learned that the disease is now in remission, so I wanted to share a bit about my journey. I want to encourage you to regularly see your doctor(s) whether you have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease or not.  Early detection is key with this disease as all other diseases.  Pay attention to how you feel and if you are having any symptoms that are out of the norm. The symptom could be something minor, or the sign of some bigger issue. Don’t let anyone dismiss your symptoms as being something you are imagining. In this episode I discuss:

What is an autoimmune disease? Some of the most common autoimmune diseases. What is Hashimoto's Disease?Common Symptoms of Hashimoto's Disease.Possible causes of Hashimoto's Disease?Foods to avoid. What I did to manage my disease and put it into remission.
