So easy to binge this podcast. Every episode covers a different case and all the details, it's easy to follow and not drug out. 10/10 recommend.
Really enjoy this podcast. I find the cases very interesting and enjoy the presentation and interaction between Daphne and Heath.
One of my faves. I consider it one I can’t miss. Good details, empathy, and a touch of humor when appropriate. Easy on the ears, and a great team. Wish they also still did the Dark Parts, but I don’t understand.
So so glad I've stumbled upon this podcast. I usually do not like 2 hosts on podcast besides crime junkie. This is wayyyy better than crime junkie imo and they were my favs, no more. I love love the fact that they talk about theories! Straight to the point, they do t do too much talking, just telling the story. I did a binge on this podcast and repeat alot too. Keep it up Scott and Daphne!!
One of my new favorite podcasts. Daphne & Heath tell the facts and stick with the story. They have great podcast voices and it’s clear that they put a lot of time and effort into each episode.
Hey you. Love your podcast. Your voices, the way you speak about the victims and how you speak with each other. No unneccessary small talk. Just a very good presented case each time. Thank you very much for your podcast.
Just had to unsub. Not only do they limit their web presence to out-of-date censorship sites (twitter, facebook, ad nauseum -- no Telegram, Bitchute, Rumble or any other free-speech alternative) and have no actual website themselves (this is the only place I've found even the beginnings of a way to contact them), they've begun doing a hard push on their Patreon "extras." You don't interrupt your main programming to shill your Patreon giveaways, folks. And, you don't put up half an episode into your main channel feed as a way to try to "entice" people to "donate" to get the real content. Sleazy. Sleazy. Sleazy. And, I've been spoiled by True Crime Garage's high quality of research. The info presented here is all first-level web search results. I doubt very much there has ever been a phone call to law enforcement, time combing through microfiche or an independent interview of anyone. Give this one a miss. They're going downhill fast.
Daphne and Heath put out terrific podcasts - great research and delightful delivery. It's like sitting down with your best friends and listening to them tell a fascinating story. Easy on the ears and always interesting. One of the best true crime podcasts out there.
I love this podcast ! Heath + Daphne have a great dynamic. I look forward to every episode posted !
I look forward to every new episode! Daphne and Heath do a great job at researching every case they cover. One of my faves!
Proves that podcasting isn't something just anyone can do. The research sounds like it's coming straight off of a Google search. The writing and editing - or lack thereof - is pretty terrible. Hearing things like "the gas station's cashier was abducted inside" and "Between (a person) doing (this) and (that), .... " is hard to take seriously. If you're going to be reading 95% of your content, get an editor at the very least. The constant scoffing about the criminals and inappropriate times to make jokes is also hard to get past. This podcast needs a lot of work and better research and writing.
This is my new favorite podcast. I love the hosts and the way they tell the stories. I can't wait to listen to more episodes on my lunch! Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
Heath and Daphne do a really amazing job researching each case adding a personal touches. In Going West it really feels like you’re just sitting down and talking about a murder case with two close friends. The audio production in Going West is clear and crisp which is what you want with an informative and narrative driven podcast.- Podcast Junkie
A high quality, no-nonsense true crime podcast.
A perfect example of irresponsible web sleuthing, taking advantage of a tragedy that is unfolding in real time. "Analyzing" a Pinterest account under the pretense of "helping to bring justice to the victim", seriously? You should have probably tried to deduce stuff from his selfies as well - oh wait, you kinda did by speculating around the guy's fascination with the macabre! Satanic panic ended in the 90s, did they forget to tell you? And don't even get me started on how excited these guys sound while talking about a girl who was potentially murdered. You'd think they just got a huge discount or a Christmas present that came early. I almost had to take a shower after listening to that.
They post a lot, which is great. They cover some lesser known stuff which is also great. My three star rating is due to biased presentation. We can always tell who did it early on because "he said he had an alibi, yeah right" or something like that, and it's glaring in how they treat polygraph results. If the person is innocent, it's "and he failed a polygraph, but we know those aren't accurate anyway so we can't put too much weight on it" and if the person is guilty it's "and he failed a polygraph, which we know aren't admissible but it's definitely worth mentioning and pointing out." I listen to probably 20 different TC podcasts and none of them combined suffer from confirmation bias like this show does.
This podcast is addicting! I appreciate that they handle murders in a way that's respectful and sensitive to the victim's families. They don't linger on gore. Love the title and podcast art. Very creative, and definitely not your run of the mill true crime show.
I’m a huge fan of this podcast. That’s it. That’s the review.
Heath and Daphne discover a lot of fairly unknown and unsolved stories that you probably haven't heard on most other podcasts. I really rate their episodes and have come across crimes I probably would never have known about. They are a nice length and interesting, with the right amount of facts and speculating over what may have happened. This is one of the best true crime podcasts I've listened to and always look out for the next episode. Great work guys.
I would love to give 5 stars but I’m just a bit annoyed by the lack of attention to the Patreon posts considering the fee that we all pay. They rarely post or now they post shorter audio. Just frustrating when you pay them and they don’t care. I unsubscribed a couple weeks back, I’m sure others will follow.
