As a part of our celebration for September's Sexual Health Awareness Month, we've interviewed Shayna Fowler, founder of Khana, the world's most powerful pair of panties.

For every pair you buy, a girl in Uganda gets a free pair of period-proof panties, which could be her ticket to getting the education she deserves.

Khana believes that when a girl's basic needs are met, she can focus less on surviving in the world and more on transforming it.

Shayna founded Khana after learning that 8,000,000 girls in sub-Saharan Africa who would eventually miss school so frequently that they would stop going entirely just because they didn't have access to menstrual products.
