Listening all the way from Botswana. I love this podcast. It really helped me with my deconvesion and anxiety. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with fear of leaving religion.

David does exude graciousness throughout this podcast. He has some very interesting interviews of people who have deconverted or deconstructed from all kinds of 'faith' traditions.I do think David often adds too much of his own story into other people's experiences.The podcast is broken into secions by some very ordinary and way too loud music which is very distracting.

I have enjoyed this podcast and the comfort and kindness that David has. This has truly helped me during my leaving the Catholic Church during the pandemic.

I have found this podcast to be incredibly uplifting and encouraging as I've left my former faith behind. It's helped me think in more empathetic ways, and I liked it so much that I wanted to be a part of it, and now I've been a guest myself.

David is warm, gentle, open-hearted, and inquisitive - a wonderful person to journey with.

This podcast is extremely helpful for those going through deconstruction and deconversion. There is a lot of community, hope and valuable insight to be found in hearing others journeys and experiences, and this podcast does an excellent job with its interviews and style.

David is an amazing host with great guests. If you’ve gone through or are going through deconstruction/deconversion or know someone who is, this podcast is an amazing resource for thinking through how to do it well. The podcast is focused on issues of faith, doubt and non-belief, but at its heart the focus is really on finding ways of being a good human being in a world of varied perspectives.

Be careful. Humanism will only lead you to the worship of flawed human stars!

An objective exploration and analysis of navigating life with, without, and in spite of socially dominant religious belief systems. I enjoy this approach which is not stuck in anger and accusation, but instead focuses on candid reflections, individual experiences navigating extraction of mind and habits from the control of religious programming. I am grateful to find this as a nurturing and safe space for my own journey.
