Hacks on Tap is how I wish every political show would be. You have two VERY knowledgeable political operatives, David Axelrod and Mike Murphy, who have been opponents on opposite sides of many a campaign - yet that are both friends, respectful of their disagreements and have a good time ribbing each other and having interesting exchanges with each other as well as guests- all with the larger focus on the looming 2020 Presidential Election. Because of his involvement with Barrack Obama’s first presidential campaign, Axelrod was already known to me- but I discovered Murphy a few years ago when he guested on the Dana Gould Hour podcast and (shockingly) the two men could not disagree more politically and yet they are good friends and have marvelously entertaining and funny conversations. Now…if you are a Trump supporter- this is not a show for you- Murphy is a principled conservative and doesn’t buy into the changes that have taken over a wide section of the GOP – so he is seemingly a few clicks right of Bill Clinton- he doesn’t give a damn what you do in your personal life/your house- he wants fiscal responsibility and letting the market decide issues when possible. This is both an entertaining way to follow politics of the day and it’s funny and respectful to boot. Fabulous work gentlemen.
