In this episode of Half Size Me, Heather talks to Erika abouthow the compliments from others made her face her guilt about not being true to herself.what misconceptions Erika had about weight loss and how she's changed her views.why Erika feels slow progression was what helped her succeed in losing weight and getting healthy.and much more!About Erika: "I have been overweight/obese the majority of my life. In 2012, there were several catalysts that resulted in the beginning of my weight loss journey. I believe patience, perseverance, and discipline are the key to success! To date I have lost 80 lbs, 12.75 inches off my waist, and reduced my body fat by 10 percent! I worked off the weight through clean eating, calorie counting, and a lot of exercise! I do still struggle with myself from time to time but am fortunate to have a beautiful fiancee, Laura, a steadfast trainer, and strong support system in my family and friends to keep me motivated in those times of weakness. Through it all, there is one phrase I hold onto that I believe can carry you through any of those difficult times:""Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside of you that is greater than any obstacle". --AnonymousTo read more about Erika click here.ResourcesFitbitMy Fitness PalFinally Alive After 25About Half Size MeHalf Size Me is an hour-long, weekly podcast meant to inspire you and motivate you no matter where you are on your weight loss journey.
