  These are questions I was desperate to ask people when I was trying to figure out how to escape work I hated and do what I love.   In this second episode of the mini-series we have Sonal Nathwani as our guest who is  an incredibly talented painter of expressive florals & dreamy landscapes.  Sonal imparts incredible the wisdom needed to pursue the desire to do what you loved along with her practical experience of doing so.   She encourages us to notice the things you can't stop thinking about, and trust that. She decided to leave the finance industry after her second son was born, to live ‘the creative life’ and can now happily say she's a painter.   As well as paintings on canvas, Sonal likes to paint on any surface that she feels needs to be beautified. This naturally led her to the world of surface pattern design. Sonal usually starts with a painted or hand drawn motif and then digitally develops the artwork to create bold and colourful designs for products and textiles.
