Changing the Magnetic Polarity of Your Heart

Human beings have a natural attraction to sin—much like magnets of opposite polarity. In order to overcome, we we must change our spiritual magnetic polarity!

Have you ever played with magnets? Put the opposite poles of two magnets together and they attract. Put the like poles of two magnets together and they repulse. Put them close enough together with freedom to act independent of all other influences and they spin around and lock together. The same principle applies in our relationship with God.

TWO LIKE POLES REPULSE ONE ANOTHER. SO DO TWO “HIGHER” INTELLIGENCES. If we approach God with the side of us that sees mankind as the most intelligent, creative force in our universe, we are immediately repulsed by God, because we are in essence seeing ourselves as God and cannot allow Him to get close without affecting our self image. As much as God wants to draw close to us, the closer He gets, the stronger the force with which our egos push us away. Therefor for you to serve God, and be drawn to Him we need to submit, deny, surrender, abandon self. Mat 16:24; James 4:6-8

OPPOSITES ATTRACT - THE POLARITY OF YOUR HEART DETERMINES WHAT YOU DRAW. For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will be furnished richly so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have will be taken away. Mat 25:29

IN THE KINGDOM THIS WORKS IN THE OPPOSITE - POSITIVE ATTRACTS POSITIVE

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Luk 6:31 Treat other people with the concern and kindness you would like them to show toward you. This saying has come to be called the Golden Rule.

CONTINUE IN THE OPPOSITE SPIRIT. By doing things in the opposite spirit, you can change the polarity of your adversary. in the opposite spirit Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 16:19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to bewise in what is good, and simple concerning evil. YOUR INNER WORLD DETERMINES YOUR AUTHORITY IN YOUR OUTER WORLD. - Jesus in the storm. The glory of Christ within Col 1:27 Is an magnetic field, that pushes away evil and sin. The polarity of Christ within, exudes darkness.

In our modern world, the properties that go along with magnetism are well understood. We term a charismatic person as someone with a Magnetic personality. His glory in us, makes our lives attractive and beautiful, giving of a Gold aroma of life to those who are drawn to Him, but a smell of death to those who resists Him. 2 Cor 2:16 Isa 60:1 glory, chabod (kah-vohd); Strong’s #3519: Weightiness; that which is substantial or heavy; glory, honor, splendor, power, wealth, authority, magnificence, fame, dignity, riches, and excellency. The root of chabod is chabad, “to be heavy, glorious, notable,” or “to be renowned.” In the OT, “heaviness” represented honor and substance, while “lightness” was equated with vanity, instability, temporariness, and emptiness (see Judg. 9:4; Zeph. 3:4). Chabod is God’s glory, not only His honor, renown, and majesty, but also His visible splendor, which filled Solomon’s temple and will someday fill the Earth (1 Kin. 8:11; Num. 14:21). From chabod are derived the names “Jochebed” (“Yahweh Is Glory”) and Ichabod (“Where Is the Glory?”).
