Dry skin is a common health condition. It occurs when the skin lacks the oils and moisture it requires to stay healthy. Dry skin can be uncomfortable, itchy, red, and scaly. It can be a result of environmental variables such as chilly temperatures or dry air. It might also be brought on by medical diseases like diabetes, dehydration, and eczema.

Although dry skin is usually temporary, there are types of dry skin that could last year-round.

Caylynn is a Dermal Clinician, with a degree in Bachelor in Dermal Science and post-graduate studies in Skin Cancer. For the past 3 years, she has been on the board of the ASDC (a peak body for Dermal Clinicians and industry alike).   She is passionate about the skin and its complexities and educates the patients she sees every day on their presenting skin concerns. Caylynn aims for her patients to feel knowledgeable and informed as there is so much information and misinformation out there.
