I wrote about a company called
Tastry way back in our
Wine edition.
They are a fascinating business that, to quote their website, matches “products to people using chemistry, machine learning and every person's individual palate.” They like to say they taught a computer how to taste.
I contacted their CEO and founder, Katerina Axelsson, and we had a great chat last week. So great, in fact, that I figured it would be of interest to our subscribers.
We had another chat this week, then I added a royalty-free musical sting at the beginning, and here we are.
Podcasting? Piece of cake.

Katerina Axelsson, Tastry CEO
We discussed: - Why Katerina decided to found Tastry.
- Their unique approach to understanding the chemistry of wine.
- How can science improve a highly subjective industry like wine?
- Tastry’s technology for matching consumers to products they will love.
- Plenty more!
Have a listen and see what you think!
