GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS! 

Hey gals! We are back and coming in hot this week! We catch you up on all the things we’ve been up to these last two weeks, including more of KA’s #TechnicalDifficulties and some opposing views on #HalloweenHolidayEnergy. We dive into a great conversation about women—our place in this world, the construed view society has of Women Empowerment and most importantly, what Scripture has to say about women AND men; how we are all fearfully and wonderfully made in His image, and our right, equal, and important places within our world today. Not every woman is made to be a stay at home mom and not every woman is made to be the CEO of a Fortune 500 company—but both are right and good and powerful things. We hope you find this encouraging and motivating to cheer on your sisters in the Year of the Woman— we love this phrase in the light of canceling the comparison culture, canceling the demeaning men culture, and rising to the occasion that has been set before us, whatever that is for you! We believe that God loves women and has a specific, special place for them in this world. And he celebrates (he created!) the beautiful differences in both men and women. Here’s what we’re drinking: It’s Fall, y’all! 

Apple Bourbon Smash—

·         ½ honeycrisp apple, roughly chopped

·         2 teaspoons honey

·         4 ounces bourbon

·         Lemon

·         Nutmeg (We added cinnamon too because it sounded delish)!

·         Apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish

Muddle the apple and honey until liquid is released. Add bourbon, lemon, nutmeg and cinnamon. Shake! Pour over ice. Add apples to garnish. Cheers!
