Despite being a reading of an essay, it's still engaging in showing the problem of raising sea levels similar to those heard happening on Maldives and Venice. The views and beachside surrounding are features that are able to be risked being flooded for. I can't help but think whether the rich being portrayed in it are ignorant of the fact that the place is gonna be inevitably flooded despite the reasoning that they are giving, eg. raised sidewalks and pumps. All in all, a good episode.
This episode marks this show coming into it's own. The dispatch from a correspondent touring Miami real estate is perfect. She speaks to the agents selling condos in buildings who's lobbies are increasingly flooded, sunny day flooding is a normal part of the forecast (by 2030 - 45 days a year of sunny day flooding is expected). Perfect one for a family roadtrip with a skeptical family member.
