Mike Logan

Mike Logan is a seasoned rural leader from Narrabri in northern New South Wales, with experience in CEO positions across various industries. 

In this episode of the Human Potential Podcast Mike talks about changing his self-image from being a farmer to a city-based business leader. Mike tells the story being lost in the Kimberley and how this event led to his understanding of the importance of asking the right questions in order to lead teams more effectively.

After graduating from the first Australian Rural Leadership Program intake in 1993, Mike completed an environmental program, and convinced the entire cotton industry to develop a best practice management program, which is still going strong today.

Mike ran a cotton farming business based from Narrabri in Northern NSW for 30 years. That business managed investments in the cotton farming industry from local and international investors.

Mike was the Chief Executive Officer of Dairy Connect and he has served on the boards for numerous organisations, including the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.

In 2019 Mike was recognised in the Australian honours list, with a Member of The Order of Australia, for service to primary industry through rural research and sustainable development in the fields of cotton, dairy and water conservation.

Mike is now a Professional Leadership Mentor as Chairman of The Executive Connection (TEC), as well as a Coach and an Author.

Mike Logan has recently published his first book. The Asking Leader.
