The Legend of Zelda is as old a video game franchise as you can get, having graced the world for more than twenty-five years. It’s been around for so long that people who played the Legend of Zelda on the NES when they were children are raising families of their own now. It’s in light of this fact that I embarked on this project. There’s nothing like sharing something you love with someone you love, and I hope these fairy tales will help gamer parents share the Legend of Zelda with their children, before they’re old enough to pick up a controller.Hyrulean Fairy Tales will have three different sections. The Fairy Tales are a retelling of Ocarina of Time through the lens of classic fairy tales as a podcast. Another part will be Sarashalla’s fables, short little stories based off of Zelda lore in the style of Aesop’s Fables. Third will be the Mad Fairy Tales, the ones I found particularly amusing while I was doing research for this project. I’ll do what I can to have something released every week, but the tales are a two man job, so we’ll see how well it works out. A word of warning to any parents, I’ll do my best to keep this as PG as possible, but there will be Redeads. Just keep that in mind.A quick note for those of you viewing on iTunes, you'll see nine episodes below that aren't part of Hyrulean Fairy Tales. Those are part of the show Forgotten Conflicts, a podcast I did prior to this one. It's about a war in the Fantasy World of Irva, told through a historical lens.
