I've awesomely managed to stumble across an amazing new band who are wowing us (me and hopefully you) with some beautiful sinalong Australian music. This week I talk with BoysnLove who tell us all about their journey into (hopefully) prying open the Australian music scene with their authentic, indie sounding rock anthems! So enlightening. Watch this space as I chat about everything music with Boysnlove and their refreshing views on their music, and all the bits in between.
Hello there. Thanks for tuning in. This episode I discuss all things Australian and delve into some Australian culture (from the viewpoint of an Englishman). Grab a beer or wine and enjoy. Thanks for listening x.
Hello my friend and welcome back! This episode I've made it my personal mission to put a smile on your face during this terrible world pandemic that is Covid-19 (bastard). I've decided to unleash to you a selection of personal anecdotes that will not only embarrass me, but entertain you. Try and look after each other gang. Be kind and thanks for listening.
Who said I would'nt make twenty episodes!? Me.. Join me as I celebrate 20 awesome episodes. We have our first Bring back the word (BBTW) interviewee and I've managed to have an awesome interview with Cate Fraemann, the greens politician who is advocating for pill (ecstacy) testing in Australia. And she means business.. Fascinating woman who was sick of watching the country be run by middle aged know nothings, so deicided to take the reins herself. Plus there's me rambling my usual thoughts. Thanks for listening x.
One of the loves of my life was a band I helped form in the mid nineties called Spam! This is a part two filled with interviews and music from the band. Grab a beer or whatever floats your boat and enjoy.
Welcome friend! So it's my 48th Birthday and I thought I'd celebrate in style by MOANING at you via my Podcast. Join me as I take a trip down memory lane and examine 48 years of birthday hilarity. Maybe hilarity is the wrong word. Either way, thanks for tagging along. Happy Birthday to me.
Great news everybody! New addition to the clan incoming! It's time for me to enter the grandad phase. Pass my slippers and cardigan. I'm also joined this week by a rep from the Extinction from Rebellion movement to discuss climate change and their plans to stick it to the government. Slightly shorter episode this time as I prep myself for the milestone of episode 20! It's going to be a massive celebration, keep your ears and eyes peeled! Grandads rule ok!

My friend Christine talks us through what being a sexual therapist is all about. The mind is a complex beast and it can sometimes need the help of an outsider.  Life is short gang and this interesting chat with Christine could potentially lead you to a better sex life with just the right amount of specialist help. Many thanks for your insight Christine. Hopefully we've educated/helped a few people out.
Jebediah rocked the Aussie music scene in the late nineties with their incredibly catchy athems. Front man Kevin Mitchell later morphed into Bob Evans, and this is his story up until now. An intelligent thoughtful man, who loves his work. Grab a beer and listen to Kevin. Guaranteed to slip a harpoon through your heart...
I've often wondered about Scientology. We've all heard the bad stuff. But what about the other stuff? My new friend Mike opens up about Scientology. And if what he says is true, it's a spiritual journey into self improvement. And from his point of view I tend to believe him. You be the judge as Mike and I discuss the world of L. Ron Hubbard, and his famous church of Scientology.
I'm joined this pod by John Oh, a Sydney based male escort. John explains all the highs and lows of his prefered profession. Police corruption, family issues and international jobs to name but a few. Many thanks to John. A passionate, intelligent man who prides himself on his high level of commitment to his job who has taken it upon himself to promote sex workers as everyday human beings, as they most rightly are. Grab a beer and enjoy.
Welcome to episode one! In this Trump heavy climate, I've often wondered what it would be like to live in the U.S. and be a Trump hater at the same time. Well, I tracked down one such person to find out exactly what it's like and his comments and thoughts range from the obvious to the not so obvious. All of the pro's and con's of living in modern day America is covered. From Trump to drugs to name a few. Many thanks to Mike Weed for his awesome contribution.  Enjoy!
Hello there! Thanks for tuning in. This episode is all about a band I started last century in the mid 90's. It played an enormous part in my life. Both creatively and as a massive milestone in my life. It's given me friends for life and a creative stamp in the universe. This episode will be a part one, as I wish to expand more on it. Please enjoy this episode which contains interviews with most of the original members as we reminisce our misspent youth. Thanks for listening.
Hello friend. Thanks for tuning in. This episode we tackle music! The untackle-able! I discuss my loves and hates in the music world.  I didn't realise it would be such a hard subject to cover. I mean, it's just music right? Not the case. I've left a million stones unturned, but I dare anyone to turn over every stone! Also my new segment is introduced. I bloody love it! You'll have to listen to find out, but we're meeting amazing people. FACT! Ok, enjoy the show. If you want to hit me up, you know the deal. idlovetohaveabeerwith@gmail.com Instagram,Facebook and twitter. I'd love some feedback on my solo attempts. Thanks for listening and peace x.
Welcome to the show. This episode I've managed to score an interview with the host of the "All things Iceland" podcast, Jewells Chambers. This podcast has become a favourite of mine what with my links to Iceland and it's awesome content. Jewells is from New York city and recently moved to Iceland with her Icelandic husband. Her podcast is all about Iceland. It's customs, people and day to day life. It's fascinating! You can find Jewells' podcast on all the usual platforms. Do yourself a favour and have a listen. Grab a beer or whatever floats your boat and enjoy. You're welcome.
Ok. I've been meaning to interview my children for some time now. It's actually an interesting chat where we get the perspectives of the world from the point of view of a 5 and 7 year old. They're very sweet. To be honest this was an excuse to get them on the podcast! Grab a beer or wine (or juice box) and enjoy George and Olivia. Love you kids forever.
Hello podmate! Thanks for tuning in. This episode is a brief one. The world is currently in pandemic lock down due to the bastard corona virus, covid-19. This episode covers how we're coping with the home self isolating, how we're coping with no alcohol (grrrr) and an update on our potential upcoming youtube channel. Thanks for listening guys. Stay safe.
I've had the amazing good luck to bump into Jenna Love an eastern states based escort who is apparently living the life of riley. Jenna gives us the low down on being a modern day escort. Fascinating chat with a level headed woman who left me speechless several times. Grab a beer and enjoy Jennas wise words.
Welcome back pod gang! This episode I chat to Canadian-Australian Burlesque super star Miss Maple Rose! Miss Maple is an Australian Burlesque master (mistress?) living in Victoria,Australia who gives us the low-down on everything it takes to be a Burlesque champion. With many Burlesque feathers in her cap, Miss Maple is a joy to speak to. Grab a beer or a vino and enjoy the conversation. Thanks for listening.
This Pod I'm joined by an amazing woman. "Sharon" (not her real name), was recommended for a random interview to chew the fat. Very early on in the conversation it's discovered that she was a forensics expert who was part of the enormous team who helped identify the thousands of corpses in the recent tsunami that devastated a country and the entire world. Her account of this situation is fascinating and one can only think about how amazing people like herself and the hundreds of other workers involved really are. Truly an amazing story. She's now retired from forensics and is into beer! (god bless her) and is focused on raising her young family in Australia with her husband. Not to be missed. Grab a beer and enjoy! Thanks for listening.
Meet SciManDan! Protector of reason and logic.. Imagine if loonies started posting on Youtube that the Earth is flat, and it's all a massive conspiracy.. Ok, that's happening. SciManDan exposes these wallys and dissects them bit by bit. Legend. Follow him on Youtube to see the hilarity for yourself. Dan gives some insight into why he does this in this awesome interview.
Hey pod-dudes! I'm at home full of cold and snot. Not the best but at least it's not covid-bastard. This episode I fill you in on my latest escapades and let you know how you can help via patreon. Thanks for listening gang, hopefully see you soon for a beverage! Thanks for listening.
Welcome to another episode of I'd love to have a beer with!  This episode we discuss alcohol.. I've decided to take a wee break from "SATAN'S JUICE" and in this episode I explain why. It's not all gloom and doom. It's actually quite refreshing.  Future episodes are also discussed. Including a Victorian era historian and hopefully part three of my spam series, which should tie it up nicely. I genuinely hope you enjoy this episode. It's been a pleasure to present it to you. Thanks for listening.
Welcome everyone. This week I'm proud to present Ellen Jovin as my special guest. Ellen is an author of several grammar based books and holds several degrees based around language. This woman is an absolute fountain of knowledge regarding grammar and is obviously very passionate about the subject. Being a loose grammar/language fan I decided to quiz her on all things grammatical.  Ellen regularly pops up her grammar table in public places where anyone can ask her grammar related questions (and they do!) Join Ellen and I as we get our grammar geek on. Thanks for listening. You can find Ellen on twitter under Ellen Jovin or grammar table. And don't forget to check out her three grammar related books for all your grammar needs!
