It's always fun when you can have friends on the podcast. This week I got to have my good friend Loren Salyer on to talk about the art of wedding photography and the discipline it takes to run and sustain your own business.

Since she was in college, Loren has been running her own photography business. She does weddings, engagements, couple shoots. Pretty much anything. Loren shot Emily and my engagement and wedding photos and we've done a number of other shoots with her as well. Pretty much any time we need nice photos taken of us, we call Loren.

She is truly one of the most talented people I know and Emily and I have gotten to become really good friends with Loren and her husband Tyler.

I'm excited to have her on to talk about creativity, but also her faith journey. She's got such a great story, from being a teenage mother to where she's at now in her life. Hearing her maturation process, both creatively and spiritually, and how that's intersected and what she's learned about God was really cool.
