Roshon Roomes is a student athlete and industrial engineering student at Iowa State University. If there was ever an underdog story in running, it would be Roshon's story. He didn't even receive an athletic scholarship from Iowa State out of high school, instead he came in as a regular student and was a part of the student's running club for a year before the coaches allowed him to walk on. Fast forward to now, where Roshon has broken the NCAA record in the 600 yard run and is one of the best in the nation for the 800m run. And although he wasn't a prodigy in high school, he is now a 3 time Big 12 Champion and a 6 time All-American!
