Season Two has really knocked it out of the park. The first season is simple, but what really makes In Transit five stars for me is how it has upped its game as the sakes get higher. The world-building and characters are stellar, and the acting (especially by Faraday) is fantastic. Highly underrated podcast.
I have never listened to a podcast before, and have to say I wouldn't have if I didn't know the showrunner and some of the cast. I can honestly say I really enjoyed it. Very intriguing concept, strong characters and very well written. It takes an incredible amount of dedication and time to script, produce, cast, direct, and edit a show of this nature, and the fact Matt Wilson did all of that is incredible! There were times when the story slowed a bit, but the last few episodes have really brought all the themes and plot lines together. The finale was so well crafted, shocking, moving, beautifully acted and directed, excellent sound and with some lovely call backs to previous episodes. Can't wait to see what Matt & the cast do next!
I'm loving this show so far! I seriously look forward to each episode so much!
There's just one chapter out so far but this is AMAZING already. All of the voice actors are great, the story is intriguing and I am already in love with Alecto!!I cannot wait for more, listening to the first episode made me so so happy <3
Average sci-fi drama with some really annoying characters. Just started season 2 and no real improvement. 2.5 stars
Bingeable podcast with great writing, pacing, characterisation, and acting. Bring on season 2!
What I like about this murder mystery is the huge and yet easily understandable world building. I feel like I’ve been running around the ship with the characters like I’ve lived there myself, which makes it a lot of fun (you know, besides the murder part). I kinda wish the characters were a bit more likable but I understand this is a misfits coming together story and hope to warm up to them more!
for the longest time I thought I didn't care for this podcast very much because I didn't get completely hooked after the first season. and then season two came, and I'd genuinely be on the edge of my seat listening, especially for the second half of it. and even then, staring the last ep, I thought to myself "ok, finishing this, it was a nice experience, but *wink* no more than that"and then I literally sobbed for 40 minutes straight. the finale completely obliterated me. I think I got so used to happy endings in podcasts, to "everything works out in the end" that till the very last moment I thought "this can be fixed. this has to be fixable" and so the way it all unravelled literally came for my throat.also, huge kudos for the advancements in production value. it was a bit wonky in the first season, but there was a huge improvement in the second.so yeah, I recommend this podcast. if you like pain
Compelling story and good writing.
