Skip the original pilot and go straight to the redux pilot. I listened in sequence and Annie Inkwyrm, the romantic lead of the show, is introduced with a conversation where she suggests/jokes that she can force her employees to sexually service her. Let's be very clear that jokes like that, especially with that power to take away another's livelihood, come off as threats. Because of this, I despised Annie throughout Season 1 and in addition, to the poor writing and cardboard characters, I hated this show for pretending that she was romantic lead material.Episode 1 redux removes Annie's Harvey Weinstein-esque dialogue, making her much less creepy. For that I applaud the creators for learning from their mistakes. The second season also improves upon the writing and fleshing out the side characters, though not to a point where it was able to keep my interest, so YMMV.
