Journalist, broadcaster and award-winning author, Jonathan Wilson, spoke to Inside the Beautiful Game about his experiences covering football.

During his career, Jonathan has written for The Guardian, the Independent, FourFourTwo, Sports Illustrated, World Soccer and at one point was the football correspondent for the Financial Times. In 2011, Jonathan founded the quarterly football journal, The Blizzard, and is a regular on the Guardian’s Football Weekly podcast. A celebrated author, Jonathan’s work includes, Angels With Dirty Faces: The Footballing History of Argentina and most famously, Inverting the Pyramid: The History of Football Tactics.
