Unfortunately, I am writing this review the week of Inter-Party Conflict's final episode. Fortunately, the fact that I stuck around, listening weekly, to all of their 250 episodes means they must have been doing something right. Gabe and Jeff answered questions from their listeners and the tabletop community as a whole to help everyone have their best tabletop gaming experience possible. The show is broken up into 4 main segments: The Dragons Hoard, The Main Discussion, and The Funeral Pyre (I mean, I guess The Retirement Village was a thing too...), and The Weekly Discussion Question. The Dragons Hoard is filled with all sorts of magic items to use as inspiration for your game, or to lift whole cloth from the topic of the episode. They did more than just read off a magic item too, they would discuss the mechanics when it made sense, offering advice or other opinions to the people who created the items. In The Main Discussion, Gabe, Jeff, and their occasional guest(s) would answer questions and discuss topics that most of us who have gamed long enough have encountered ourselves or are aware of. The Funeral Pyre gave listeners the chance to have a glorious send off to a beloved character of theirs who is no more. And in their Weekly Discussion Questions, listeners were able to write in about whatever question came up for their chance to be read on the show.I had the pleasure of guesting on the show numerous times in it's run and would have continued to guest in the future if the show kept going. I hope these guys find a way to do something else in the future, I know for sure, I will be listening!
