From purpose built products to enterprise lifecycle solutions, Trimble software, hardware and services are transforming industries such as agriculture, construction, geospatial and transportation and logistics.

Trimble solutions are used in over 150 countries around the world. Employees located in more than 40 countries, coupled with a highly capable network of dealers and distribution partners, serve and support our customers.

For over 40 years, Trimble has created unique solutions that help customers grow their business. With over 2,000 worldwide patents as well as research and development centers in more than 15 countries, Trimble augments its organic product development with strategic acquisitions to bring the latest technologies to a wider market."

PX – People Experience – Trimble made the switch to People Experience to put a focus on the strategy and human element of HR.  Trimble is looking to use technology to automate the more transactional components of a typical HR team to allow the freed up time to improve the strategy and the way they support the Trimble team.

The Trimble interns went remote last year and will be remote again this summer.  Many are returning and some have remained working during the school year.  Trimble employees are passionate about their work.  Trimble offers a buddy system to their interns, in addition to professional development opportunities.  The PX team listens to the feedback interns provide and make changes accordingly to stay relevant.  They have noticed an uptick in competition for top students.  Students are successful at Trimble if they work hard and communicate well.

In this episode we also mentioned episode 43 where we interviewed Scott O’Con of Tours of Cleveland.  While Tashley has never visited our beautiful city, she has heard many great things about the region and Ohio in general.  We will have to get her into town to show her all the great things our region has to offer.
