Todd Barbour was named Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Olympic Sports in February of 2008. His responsibilities in that area include overseeing all components of Olympic sports student-athlete development in the areas of strength, power, speed, agility, mobility, recovery and conditioning. Development and oversight of the budget and continued development and upgrade of 2 weight rooms utilized by their 16 Olympic Sport teams. Barbour’s responsibilities also include providing direction and leadership to establish, implement and accomplish unit objectives; hiring, mentoring and training of strength and conditioning coaches; and policy and procedure development and implementation. Since joining the Razorbacks they have enjoyed tremendous success in the SEC and on the National stage. The Razorbacks have celebrated 3 National Championships, 31 SEC Championships, and have celebrated record breaking years for their 16 sports. Prior to joining the Razorbacks, Barbour developed and private training center in Colorado and served as the Director there for 4 years. Barbour also served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Oregon State University for 6 years where he served as the lead assistant with football and head strength coach for baseball, softball, and both men’s and women’s golf teams. Barbour and his wife of 24years, Angie Barbour, have 3 boys, Tysen (17), Ayden (15) and Tanner (14).
