Resentment is bitter indignation at having been treated unfairly. It's also a complex, multilayered emotion that has been described as a mixture of disappointment, disgust, anger, fear, and ego.Holding a resentment is like drinking cyanide, waiting for it to kill the other guy. She also strongly suggests that we put away the poison by keeping our expectations low and our acceptance high. In other words, how to rise above resentment.
