Physicians are using social media, and specifically Twitter, to educate patients with the latest in scientific research.  Meet Dr. Jain of Northwestern, who used social media on a personal level until her institution asked her to use it to reach out to the public.  Dr. Jain, as a practicing hematologist/oncologist, uses her platform @ShikhaJainMD to discuss the latest scientific studies to help patients understand what is available and possible for them.
