England's Magna Carta reached its 800th anniversary in June. The John Locke Foundation helped commemorate the milestone with a panel discussion featuring experts on the document's impact on North Carolina and the American constitutional system. Featured speakers are Raleigh-based constitutional lawyer Gene Boyce, Louisiana State University professor James Stoner, and N.C. House Speaker Pro Tem Paul "Skip" Stam, R-Wake.
