La Tanya Hall and Andy Milne are a formidable team. Independently, each are world class musicians: La Tanya regularly works with artists such as Bobby McFerrin and Steely Dan while reinventing the Great American Songbook as a solo artist, while Andy is a Juno Award winning pianist, composer and band leader. As husband and wife, they discuss recently having to confront and overcome significant health challenges. This experience intertwined with their creative process to produce two remarkable records – “Say Yes!” released by La Tanya and “The reMission” by Andy. During the show, we hear two tracks from Say Yes! (“Pensativa” and “Jitterbug Waltz”) and two tracks from The reMission (“Drive By – The Fall” and “Winter Palace.)
